Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking 2 qualified Special Education Teachers to support Resource classrooms serving students with Mild to Moderate disabilities for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year . Competitive Pay Rate:
$45-50/hr, depending on experience Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with Mild to Moderate disabilities in a resource classroom setting. Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student academic and educational needs. Support students in meeting their IEP goals and accessing the general education curriculum. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to IEP goals and services. Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related service providers. Provide accommodations and instructional modifications as appropriate to support student success. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals. Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Manage an approximate 28-student caseload effectively. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries within the school environment. Required Qualifications Valid California CTC Special Education Credential required. Experience working with students with Mild to Moderate disabilities preferred. Previous experience in a resource classroom setting preferred. Ability to manage an approximate 28-student caseload. Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to begin the assignment ASAP and work through the end of the school year. Ability to work full-time in a school-based setting. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience teaching in a resource classroom . Experience supporting students with Mild to Moderate disabilities. Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Experience collaborating with general education teachers and multidisciplinary school teams. Strong understanding of accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
