In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to young children experiencing developmental delays or disabilities, including possible red flags for autism, speech and language challenges, and other childhood developmental concerns in children 0-3 years old. Your expertise will help foster early childhood development, promote learning through innovative curriculum strategies, and collaborate closely with families and other professionals to ensure each child's unique needs are met. Duties Develop and implement individualized early intervention plans aligned with each child's IFSP and early intervention goals. Conduct assessments to identify developmental delays in areas such as speech, literacy, motor skills, and social-emotional behavior. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate learning technology, curriculum development best practices, and age-appropriate activities to support childhood development. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide guidance on developmental milestones, behavior management strategies, and home-based activities. Maintain detailed documentation of progress notes, assessments, and compliance records in accordance with educational regulations and standards. Support parents and caregivers in behavior management efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. Proven experience working with children in early intervention settings or preschool classrooms. Strong knowledge of childhood developmental delays, special education law, and educational compliance standards. Demonstrated expertise in classroom management, behavior management for students with special needs, and curriculum development. Experience working with individuals with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), hearing impairments (including deaf education), or developmental disabilities. Familiarity with learning technology tools and standardized testing methods used in early childhood education. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, educators, therapists, and other professionals. Ability to implement ABA strategies and adapt lesson plans for diverse learners across various settings including daycare or private preschool environments.
