Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide is highly valued Ability to effectively assist students with varying academic, behavioral, or physical needs Strong interpersonal skills—you'll work closely with students, teachers, and staff High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or completion of paraprofessional certification is a plus Comfortable working with small groups and providing one-on-one assistance Dependability, patience, and a positive, encouraging attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Work alongside classroom teachers to implement lesson plans and support instruction Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts Help manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, respectful learning environment Support students with special education needs and adapt to a range of learning styles Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, or field trips as needed Contribute to a team of dedicated education professionals focused on student achievement
