Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid teaching credential with a specialization in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Proven experience in instructing students with hearing impairments in school settings Strong knowledge of auditory/oral, total communication, and American Sign Language (ASL) Ability to conduct and interpret audiological and educational assessments Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Adaptability in working with students ranging from preschool to high school
