We provide in-home early intervention services to children ages 0 to 3. We're growing and looking for physical therapists and occupational therapists to join us on a per diem basis. The practice is owned and run by a pediatric physical therapist, and our team includes PTs, OTs, speech-language pathologists, SLPAs, and early intervention specialists. No clinic, no productivity quotas. You see one child at a time, in their home, where they're most comfortable. About the role You'll carry a per diem caseload of infants and toddlers, seeing them in their homes around San Diego County. You decide how many clients you take and which areas you cover. Some of our therapists build a full week, others fit visits around another job. A big part of the work is coaching parents and caregivers, so what you do in a session carries over into daily routines like play, meals, and getting dressed. What you'll do Evaluate and treat children ages 0 to 3 in their homes and natural environments Develop treatment plans and functional goals, and adjust the plan of care as the child progresses Coach parents and caregivers so strategies carry over between visits Complete evaluations, progress notes, and visit documentation Work with our team (PT, SLP, SLPA, EIS) on care coordination and IFSP activities as needed Requirements Active, unrestricted California PT license and a DPT or equivalent degree, or an active, unrestricted California OT license (OTR) or active, unrestricted California SLP license Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and personal auto insurance (you'll be driving between visits) Able to work on the floor with infants and toddlers, including lifting and positioning Nice to have, but not required Pediatric or early intervention (birth to three) experience Familiarity with in-home work Bilingual (English/Spanish) New to early intervention? That's fine. If you're a strong clinician who wants to learn this setting, we'll train you.
