Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and achievement in a full-time, contract role focused on special education. Work with a mild/moderate caseload of 28 students or fewer, delivering personalized instruction and services that foster academic and social progress in a school-based environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
Current Special Education teaching credential Experience working with students who have mild to moderate disabilities Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction Commitment to compliance with IEP goals and state guidelines Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly Modifying curriculum and adapting lessons to meet students unique needs Partnering with general education staff to promote successful inclusion Maintaining accurate records and regular communication with families Creating a supportive, respectful, and positive learning environment This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k options to support your long-term financial and personal well-being.
