As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a manageable caseload of up to 28 students, focused on mild to moderate needs. While the position is primarily on-site, there may be potential for a virtual (VOCO) component, allowing for some flexibility.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff. Provide direct instruction and differentiated support for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Maintain accurate records and track student progress toward IEP goals. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment to encourage growth and learning.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid teaching credential in Special Education. Experience teaching or supporting students with mild/moderate disabilities. Strong communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work on-site and potentially remote (VOCO). Dedication to supporting student achievement in diverse settings.
