This direct hire opportunity seeks two passionate Special Education Teachers for contract positions near Yuba City, CA, working closely with a diverse student body and committed staff. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in developing and adapting curriculum for students with exceptional needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and support professionals to maximize student success.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid Special Education Teacher credentials Experience with K-12 students in a school setting Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to ongoing professional development and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to K-12 students with varying learning needs Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams Utilize evidence-based strategies to ensure students reach their highest potential Maintain accurate student records and progress reports Provide guidance and support for general education staff on best practices in inclusion This contract, direct hire position offers the chance to build lasting connections within the school community and provide vital support that enhances student growth and learning.
