Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Take your education expertise to the next level as a Special Education Teacher supporting high school students in a dynamic onsite setting. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 to May 2027, working with a select group of 9th through 12th graders who benefit from compassionate and effective support, especially in Math. As an SPED Case Manager and Teacher, you'll play an essential role in guiding students' success while collaborating with a supportive educational community.
What We're Looking For:
Valid CO CDE Certificate required Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with high school students Strong background in Math instruction and intervention strategies Case management experience, including IEP development and compliance Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
What You'll Do:
Provide direct instruction, focusing on Math support for 9th-12th grade students Manage case files and oversee IEP compliance for assigned caseload Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and service providers to tailor student learning plans Monitor, assess, and document student progress and implement interventions as needed Maintain up-to-date records and participate in all required meetings and professional development opportunities This position offers a rewarding way to make a genuine impact in students' academic and personal growth.
