Qualifications:
Valid and active (or pending) CDE license or COOL; candidates cannot be considered without this requirement Demonstrated experience in classroom management Background working directly with students with autism in an elementary school setting Strong commitment to fostering inclusive, resource-rich learning spaces Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and families
Responsibilities:
Manage a resource caseload at an elementary school, delivering individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEPs Develop and implement behavioral and academic interventions that support student growth and well-being Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure tailored services for each student Foster a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment that encourages student independence and participation Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and communications per school and state requirements
