Job Description
Tara Performing Arts High School in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a 10th grade Civics teacher for one main lesson block from March 1st through 12th of 2027. We are looking for someone with Waldorf high school teaching experience and who can maintain a friendly but disciplined working classroom atmosphere. Teachers are responsible for lesson preparation and presentation, student evaluation, written reports, accommodation implementation, and, when appropriate, parent communications. Classes are small (1-10 students), and our students are eager learners. They are highly motivated, respectful, kind and will be grateful to have an excellent teacher. Our base block rate is $800.00 per week with increases based on teaching experience, relevant certifications and background with Waldorf education. You will be expected to attend any faculty meeting that may fall during these 2 weeks.
