Through June 3, 2027 AB Staffing Solutions is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time elementary school-based opportunity in Commerce City, Colorado. This position supports students in an intensive autism / self-contained program and is ideal for an experienced Special Education teacher who is comfortable working with students requiring individualized academic, behavioral, communication, and developmental support. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations Support students with autism and significant support needs Maintain required Special Education documentation and progress records Utilize positive behavioral supports and individualized strategies Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, families, and school staff Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning Maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment Qualifications Active Colorado Special Education teaching certification/license Bachelor's degree or higher Experience working with students with autism strongly preferred Self-contained or intensive-support classroom experience preferred Strong classroom management, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Schedule This position follows a four-day school week : Tuesday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Compensation & Benefits Up to $52/hour W-2 Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision benefits available 401(k) eligibility with company match Recruiter support throughout the assignment If you're an experienced Colorado Special Education teacher looking for a school-based role with a unique four-day schedule, apply today.
