Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Prior experience working with students with diverse abilities in a K-12 setting Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Effective classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs Team-oriented, flexible, and passionate about educational equity
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students' individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards Foster a nurturing, structured environment that encourages engagement and learning Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives Advocate for the needs of students with disabilities and contribute to an inclusive school culture
