Desired Qualifications:

Active CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement (5-21) required; must provide verification that this license or endorsement has at least been applied for. Only Professional Teacher Licenses will be considered—substitute, temporary, interim, or similar licenses are not eligible without appropriate application and documentation. Extensive classroom experience in special education settings, particularly at the secondary level. Comprehensive knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) processes, including assessment, development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Ability to develop, implement, and adapt instructional strategies and supports for students working on alternative learning standards. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and service providers. Committed to on-site instruction; virtual or hybrid options are not available.
