9683038-81521 Job Description Make a meaningful impact working with students in a dynamic educational setting as a Special Education Teacher for the current school year. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team, supporting students with Significant Support Needs (SSN) and those requiring resource assistance.

Three openings are available:

two specializing in SSN and one resource specialist. Assignments run from ASAP through the end of the school year, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

Current, active Colorado teaching certification in Special Education is required Experience or strong interest in working with students with Significant Support Needs or in a resource setting Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to foster a supportive and positive classroom environment

Responsibilities Include:

Deliver specialized instruction to students individually or in small groups based on IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to ensure student success Develop and update educational plans, monitor student progress, and maintain thorough documentation Adapt and modify curricula as needed to address varying student abilities and learning styles Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and ongoing professional development Support students in achieving greater independence, social skills, and academic growth This role offers the chance to make a difference in students lives within a supportive school community.
