center-based classrooms Full-time, 1.0 FTE Monday-Friday, 5 days per week Starting August 2026 for the entire 2026-2027 school year About the Role Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Golden, CO to support students in ASD and SSN center-based classrooms. In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students' unique needs. You'll collaborate with a supportive school team while receiving support from a therapist-run company. classrooms Supportive school team and local district partnership W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits• + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development Referral bonuses What You'll Do Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Provide specialized instruction across academic and functional areas Support students in a structured, center-based classroom environment Implement appropriate behavioral and instructional strategies Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Maintain accurate progress reports and required documentation Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs What We're Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement Strong classroom management and collaboration skills Experience working with students with ASD and/or SSN preferred School-based experience preferred, but not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned and operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
