Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students near vibrant Greeley, CO. This full-time role spans the academic year, from August 13, 2026, through May 20, 2027 (dates may be adjusted). Make a meaningful impact on young learners by fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students with diverse needs.
What You'll Need:
Valid Special Education (SPED) Educator Certificate required Experience teaching at the elementary level or working with resource, self-contained, or similar caseloads Flexibility and confidence managing a range of settings and instructional needs Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Passion for empowering and advocating for students with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that encourages participation and growth Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure alignment of strategies Monitor student progress and adjust teaching techniques as needed Maintain detailed records on student achievement, behavior, and development Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
