This part-time position focuses on direct instruction

• working with students in small groups and one-on-one
• with no IEP case management.

Small group sizes (1 to 4 students) Consistent weekly schedule with planning time included Keep your PERA benefits while continuing meaningful work This role is ideal for educators who want to stay connected to students while enjoying a schedule that supports balance and well-being. What You'll Do Provide direct instruction in literacy, math, and executive functioning skills Work with students in push-in or pull-out settings Work one-on-one with students in small groups (no more than four students) Communicate and collaborate with school staff to support student success Complete brief session notes after instruction Curriculum and instructional materials are provided. Schedule & School Locations Work is scheduled during school-day hours (generally between 8:00-4:00) Teachers may serve more than one school site, but all locations are within the City & County of Denver When multiple schools are scheduled on the same day, travel distance is kept short and manageable (Mileage is reimbursed) Weekly schedules are established in advance Looking for teachers for summer and/or the 2025-2026 school year What This Position Does Not Require No IEP writing or case management No supervision of paras or aides No grading outside of sessions Occasional attendance at IEP meetings may occur, but is rare and supported Your time goes to students, not administrative load.
