Qualifications & Required Experience:

Valid CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement required Proof of application for the correct endorsement must be available if not fully issued License must read: Professional Teacher License #000000, Special Education Generalist (5-21) Demonstrated experience implementing instructional practices and individualized strategies in a special education setting In-depth understanding of the IEP process, including documentation and carrying out educational objectives Skillful in developing and delivering specially designed instruction for students working on alternative standards Commitment to in-person instruction; virtual, hybrid, or substitute/temporary/interim licenses not considered Proven ability to work collaboratively with IEP teams, including related service providers and families

Primary Responsibilities:
