Job Description

Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic high school environment. This full-time contract position runs from August 11th to May 21st, offering the chance to work closely with dedicated students and supportive staff. The role is based near Littleton, CO, and is ideal for experienced educators who are committed to fostering student growth in a traditional, in-person setting.
Ideal candidates will have:
A valid Colorado CDE Special Education Teacher License with a Generalist Endorsement (covering grades 521). Travelers, substitute, temporary, or interim licenses are not accepted unless the correct endorsement has been applied for and proof is provided. A Professional Teacher License listed as
Endorsed In:
Special Education Generalist (5-21). Strong background in teaching, including experience implementing a variety of instructional practices and strategies tailored for special education. Deep understanding of specialized designed instruction and supporting students working on alternative standards. Extensive knowledge of the IEP process, including both development and implementation. Demonstrated commitment to effective collaboration with multidisciplinary IEP teams. Enthusiasm for fully in-person teachingthis position does not offer hybrid or remote options. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering differentiated instruction, designing and following IEPs, and collaborating with students, families, and school professionals to ensure student success.
