Active CDE Special Education (SPED) Professional Teacher License with Generalist (5-21) Endorsement (proof of pending endorsement required if not yet issued) Solid background teaching at the middle school level Expertise in specially designed instruction and supporting students on alternative standards Deep understanding of the IEP process and collaborative teamwork Not eligible for VOCO/hybrid models Substitute, temporary, interim, or traveler licenses not accepted unless appropriate SPED credential has been formally applied for
