Qualifications:
CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement (must have applied and be able to provide proof if license is not yet issued) License must specify: Professional Teacher License and Endorsed in Special Education Generalist (5-21) Cannot accept substitute, temporary, or interim licenses unless SPED license is approved and paperwork is provided Must be available full time and work onsite (not open to VOCO or hybrid arrangements) Strong experience with Specially Designed Instruction, instructional strategies, and supporting students on alternative standards Extensive knowledge of the IEP process and commitment to professional collaboration
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs Develop, review, and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support every students success Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and modify curriculum as needed Monitor progress and maintain thorough records of student achievement
