Qualifications:
Fluent bilingual skills in Spanish and English are required to bridge communication and better serve students and families. Valid CDE license or active progress toward licensure is essential (be prepared to provide supporting documentation). Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience, specifically working with special education populations. Strong collaborator who thrives as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team. Adaptable, with a growth mindset and commitment to meeting the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and interventions in accordance with students' IEPs as part of the resource caseload in an elementary school setting. Collaborate closely with general educators, specialists, and families to create supportive, personalized learning plans. Use data-driven decision-making to monitor student growth and adjust strategies accordingly. Maintain up-to-date records, IEP documentation, and compliance with all district and state mandates. Foster a positive, accommodating class environment that values each student's strengths and encourages progress.
