Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, supporting students in an engaging and inclusive school setting near Loveland, CO. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity) Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Masters degree preferred Experience working with students with a range of disabilities in a school environment Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Flexibility and creativity in adapting instructional methods Collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to each students unique needs Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Use evidence-based strategies to improve student learning and behavior Coordinate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Maintain detailed progress records in compliance with school and legal requirements Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions This contract role offers the rewarding opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of students while working within a supportive educational community.
