What youll need to succeed:

Valid Special Education teaching license through CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Experience working with elementary and/or junior high-aged students Strong skills in case management and writing IEPs Proficiency in delivering differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs Experience providing behavior support and positive behavior interventions Ability to collaborate effectively with related service providers and families Adaptability and commitment to helping students achieve their fullest potential What your days will look like: Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students in either an affective needs or autism center-based classroom Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance and documentation requirements are met Deliver instruction and interventions aligned with students educational and behavioral goals Build positive and trusting relationships with students, offering consistent behavior support Work closely with staff, administration, and families to create supportive learning environments Serve as an advocate and resource for students social, emotional, and academic success This contract role offers a full-time schedule37.5 hours a week, 5 days per weekthrough May 21, 2027.
