This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with a dedicated caseload of 6th-8th graders, providing essential support in an inclusive and collaborative environment. With a manageable caseload and supportive staff, your expertise will directly benefit students educational journeys. Your schedule will run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:40 am to 3:50 pm, and Wednesday from 9:40 am to 3:50 pm, offering a consistent work routine throughout the week. This assignment begins immediately and may extend through late May.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching licenseplease provide a copy upon submission Experience working with middle school students, particularly those with significant support needs Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families Collaborative spirit and adaptability in a dynamic school setting

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of five students in a supportive classroom Design and modify curriculum based on IEP goals Monitor, document, and report on student progress and behavior Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that meets the academic and social-emotional needs of your students In addition to making a significant difference in these students lives, you will benefit from a structured workweek and the chance to grow your skills in an engaging setting.
