Primary Responsibilities:
Design and deliver instruction tailored to the unique needs of students receiving special education services Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to maximize learning and development Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Maintain accurate records, including documentation for IEPs and student performance reports Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere, promoting student independence and self-advocacy Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and progress reviews
