Key Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Teaching License and SPED (Special Education) Endorsement required Experience in supporting students with mild to moderate behavioral challenges Comfortable assisting with toileting needs if needed Previous experience with middle and/or high school populations is preferred Strong communication skills, resilience, and adaptability in a collaborative environment Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students' individualized education plans (IEPs) Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learners Collaborate closely with general educators, instructional aides, parents, and related service professionals Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed to maximize success Support students in both academic and social-emotional growth Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team processes This contract position offers the unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their families.
