This contract opportunity begins August 20, 2026, and continues through June 3, 2027, providing a consistent schedule of 34 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday (with Mondays off), from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Ideal candidates will have:

Valid CDE Special Education (SPED) licensure Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially those with significant support needs (SSN) Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and families Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learners Excellent classroom management and communication abilities A sincere passion for empowering students with a wide range of abilities Key responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction aligned with each students IEP and district guidelines Create, adapt, and assess lessons for students with diverse developmental and behavioral needs Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Contribute to problem-solving, intervention, and student support initiatives throughout the school year This opportunity offers a stable school-year schedule with extended weekends, plus the chance to develop meaningful relationships with students and a strong support team.
