A long-term substitute Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time assignment starting as soon as possible and continuing through November. Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification required Experience working with upper elementary grades (preferred) Strong skills in differentiated instruction and classroom management Ability to adapt quickly and build rapport with students and staff Previous experience in a push-in/resource or inclusion setting helpful Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to 5th-grade students in both push-in and resource support models Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt lessons and provide accommodations Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and monitor progress Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere Engage with parents and staff to keep them informed of student progress Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
