r44425-06604 Job Description Special Education Teacher Full-Time | 7th8th Grade ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based position supporting students in 7th8th grade.

Position Details:

Full-Time:

32.5 hours per week

Grade Levels:

7th8th grade

Setting:

Onsite, school-based

Virtual:

No virtual services; the district does not offer virtual positions

Credentials:

Active Connecticut Special Education credentials required

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students in accordance with their IEPs Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and develop appropriate goals and accommodations Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

Active Connecticut Special Education credentials required Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with middle school students and multidisciplinary teams Ability to work onsite; virtual/teletherapy candidates will not be considered If you're passionate about helping students succeed and are looking for an onsite school-based opportunity, we'd love to connect with you.
