Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with K12 students, especially in self-contained autism, resource, and elementary (K8) settings Familiarity with reading specialist strategies Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Adaptability and a commitment to inclusive learning
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to students with multiple needs, including those on the autism spectrum and in resource settings Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster student progress Track student attendance, progress, and goals Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
