This long-term position focuses on 1:1 instruction with a pediatric student, offering travel professionals a chance to work collaboratively within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required State Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Flexibility and adaptability in supporting diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support to a student with visual impairments, fostering access to the curriculum and promoting academic success Design and implement tailored lesson plans, accommodations, and modifications to meet the student's unique learning goals Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, administrators, and family members to ensure comprehensive support Maintain up-to-date records, documentation, and progress notes as required by the school and relevant regulations Advocate for the needs and rights of students with visual impairments within the educational setting
