This full-time position spans 35 hours per week, with immediate openings and placement through June 11, 2027. Youll engage with diverse student populations, including those in Pathways programs (multiple disabilities), KEY programs (Autism), and inclusive educational settings. As a valued educator, youll facilitate student growth, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help shape individualized learning experiences for K-12 learners.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current and active Special Education teaching license and certification in Connecticut Demonstrated, successful school-based experience in special education Versatility to teach and support students across K-12 grade levels Comfortable working within specialized (Pathways/KEY) and inclusive classroom settings Proven ability to adapt instruction to meet a variety of learning needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and advocacy References available to complete the hiring process
Responsibilities:
