Desired Qualifications:

Valid 065 or 165 certification required Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher at the high school level preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to adapt instructional methods and resources to support individual student needs Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Passion for fostering student growth and independence

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with a range of learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with faculty and support staff Utilize data-driven strategies to assess progress and adjust learning plans Effectively manage classroom environments for optimal learning Support students academic, social, and emotional development Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulations Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your work empowers students every day.
