Special Education Teacher - Middle School Developmental Disabilities Classroom - 2026-2027 School Year Do your best teaching with a team that believes in what's possible. Our ideal candidate brings:
Connecticut Teacher Certification in Special Education, such as 165 or 065, or eligibility for appropriate certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings. Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. A commitment to evidence-based and individualized instruction. Curiosity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to learn. A belief that high expectations, strong relationships, meaningful instruction, and the right supports can open possibilities for every student. Salary Range $49,292 to $102,010 annually.
