Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students requiring special education services.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday Duties Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs in various educational settings Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support students with academic tasks, social skills development, and behavior management Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement specialized instructional strategies Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the special education team Qualifications At least a bachelor's degree, but a master's is preferred if possible. That said, we know the candidate pool is small and will take the best candidate we can get. Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs Knowledge of special education principles and practices Familiarity with strengths-based behavior management techniques Ability to assist in lesson planning and adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents Walk-Ins Welcome!
