Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut teaching license with 165 or 265 Special Education Certification Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in school settings Strong organizational and communication skills

Role & Responsibilities:

Provide resource room and push-in/pull-out services for small groups of 4th/5th or 7th/8th graders (based on assignment) Support students' IEP goals and collaborate with general education teachers Implement individualized and small group instruction in resource settings Schedule and lead mostly pull-out groups, with occasional push-in support as needed Work a consistent schedule: 8:15 am - 3:45 pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
