Desired Qualifications:
Current, active Special Education Teacher license for Connecticut. Any additional certifications required for SPED teaching roles within the state. Experience working within school-based settings, especially in special education. Familiarity with CT-SEDS is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs. Adapt instructional materials and teaching techniques to meet diverse learning styles. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines. Collaborate with general ed staff, related services, and families for holistic student support. Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes growth and confidence.

9/1510/27: Special education teacher (BoE) 9/2812/23: Special education teacher (Central) 11/262/28: Special education teacher (Prep) Each position requires a 35-hour work week onsite.
