This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to serve K-12 students in diverse settings, including Pathways (multiple disabilities), KEY (Autism), and inclusion classrooms. Qualifications:

Current and valid Special Education (SPED) licensure and certification for Connecticut Demonstrated strong experience working in a school setting as a Special Education Teacher Confidence supporting students in programs for multiple disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and inclusive environments Ability to work 35 hours per week for the duration of the contract Comfortable and professional conducting Zoom interviews References available upon request

Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and modify instruction for K-12 students in Pathways, KEY, and inclusion programs Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families to create individualized learning plans and supports Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs Maintain relevant documentation and compliance as required by special education laws and policies Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, lasting until June 11, 2027, allowing you to build lasting relationships and make a meaningful difference in a supportive district.
