Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education Bachelor's degree or higher in special education or related field Previous experience working with students in K-12 special education settings In-depth knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and educational programs
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction tailored to diverse learners with a variety of disabilities Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal laws Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications support student access and success Conduct assessments and interpret results to guide instruction and monitor student progress Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth, confidence, and independence Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals, progress, and ongoing needs Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation This is a fantastic chance to utilize your special education skills in a supportive, student-centered setting.
