Key Qualifications:

Current Special Education Teacher certification Prior experience working with students with a variety of disabilities across multiple grade levels Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong collaborative skills to partner with general education teachers, therapists, and families Effective communication and documentation abilities Understanding of state and federal special education regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and accommodations according to each student's IEP Assess students' educational, behavioral, and social needs to adapt lessons accordingly Facilitate a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student growth and confidence Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and parent conferences as required Collaborate regularly with support staff and administration to promote student success
