Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher (CT SPED) certification required Experience or strong interest in social-emotional/behavioral education, grades 3-5 preferred Previous work in specialized classrooms or SPED settings a plus Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to personalized learning approaches
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and support students in the Social Emotional Behavioral Classroom (grades 3-5) Collaborate with a dedicated team implementing IEPs and behavior intervention strategies Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Maintain clear communication with staff and families to facilitate student growth Uphold documentation and compliance requirements
