Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in grades 1 and 2 Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with students' IEPs Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate various learning needs Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support services Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance Support positive behavioral interventions and inclusive classroom environments This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 32.5 to 37.5 hours a week, ensuring work-life balance within the academic calendar.
