Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification Experience working with children or adolescents with varying disabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues, students, and families Proficiency in developing and adapting lesson plans to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere

Design and implement effective instruction based on students' IEP goals Adapt curriculum and provide accommodations to ensure accessibility Monitor and evaluate student progress, documenting growth and recommending adjustments as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and advocating for student needs Create a safe, supportive, and motivating classroom environment
