- to join an Early Childhood Center serving Pre-K students for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Position Overview
- The Special Education Teacher is committed to active team participation in the planning and implementation of student programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff.

Level 2 + Virtual interviews required + Opportunity for additional support during Extended School Year (ESY) programming- Key Responsibilities
- + Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) + Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs + Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families + Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation + Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions + Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations •Minimum Requirements•+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, district, or contractual requirements + Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred + Standard Elementary Teaching Certification preferred + Standard Secondary Teaching Certification preferred + Standard Special Education Teaching Certification preferred + Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred + Must comply with all professional standards of practice + Current CPR certification, if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if required + Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulation + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age To apply email your resume to doschaib@amergis.
