Job Description

Make an impact supporting students with hearing differences as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in a school setting near Dover, DE. This contract opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about fostering communication, inclusion, and academic success for students with hearing impairments. Collaborate with a dedicated school team, design individualized strategies, and ensure students have the resources they need to thrive.
Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Previous experience in a school environment is highly desired Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills Ability to create and implement effective IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Up-to-date knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive strategies Flexibility to accommodate diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
