Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid certification in Special Education (state eligibility required) Experience teaching K-5, preferably in self-contained or behavioral support settings Background in supporting mild, moderate, and severe behavioral needs Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working with paraprofessionals A commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral interventions in elementary self-contained classrooms Manage classrooms with paras to support student learning and development Develop and implement IEPs tailored to varied student needs Create a structured, safe, and engaging environment for all learners Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
