r47638-19809 Job Description ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Wilmington, Delaware. This position will support students throughout the district while collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to promote student success.

Work Schedule:

Full-Time 35 hours/week 30-minute unpaid lunch

Start Date:

ASAP Contract through June 8, 2027

Qualifications:

Valid Delaware Special Education Teaching Licensure required Previous school-based special education experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation Ability to support students across different educational settings and needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals and Delaware standards Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support students with individualized and small-group instruction Monitor student academic, behavioral, and functional progress Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain accurate student progress data and documentation Foster a positive, structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
