Job Description

Make a meaningful impact each day by supporting students in need of specialized instruction across a dynamic district in the Wilmington, DE area. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite with a collaborative team who is dedicated to student growth and success. You'll be working across the district, tailoring educational approaches to students requiring individualized support and advocacy.
Skills & Qualifications:
Current and valid Delaware Special Education Teacher certification (must be active; please attach with application) Demonstrated experience creating and implementing IEPs for students with diverse academic and behavioral needs Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies for varying grade levels and student abilities Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to students across the district in alignment with IEP goals Coordinate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive classroom environments Collect, analyze, and maintain ongoing data and documentation for each student's progress Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and updates Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams about student needs and successes Maintain a supportive, positive classroom climate that encourages participation and growth
Role Details:
Contract position running through 6/8/27 Full-time hours (35 hours weekly; 30-minute unpaid lunch) Onsite support for a broad range of student needs Multiple positions available Your dedication can change the trajectory of students' lives.
